“Quyoshli xonadon” (Solar Home): 1,000 UZS for surplus power and the 2026 tariffs
A 1,000 UZS/kWh subsidy for surplus power that a home solar plant feeds into the grid, and household tariffs from 1 June 2026 — based on official sources.

Families who have installed solar panels at home can be paid by the state for the surplus electricity they feed into the grid. Below is a short summary of the “Quyoshli xonadon” (Solar Home) programme and the electricity tariffs in force from 1 June 2026, based on official sources.
The “Quyoshli xonadon” programme
- Legal basis: Presidential Resolution PP-57 of 16 February 2023; the procedure for selling surplus energy is set by Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 247 of 14 June 2023.
- Who qualifies: individuals with a home solar plant of up to 50 kW in total.
- Amount: a subsidy of 1,000 UZS for every kWh of surplus. The surplus is calculated monthly: energy drawn from the grid is subtracted from energy fed into it (if the result is positive).
- Payment: by the 25th of the following month to your bank card, via “Cashback and benefits” → “Quyoshli xonadon” in the Soliq app. The subsidy is not taxable income.
- If you feed more energy into the grid in a month than you consume, you pay nothing for electricity that month.
Please note: in 2026 there were reports of the subsidy being paid late for some months, so do not treat the payment date as guaranteed.
Household electricity tariffs from 1 June 2026
Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 243 of 15 May 2026 set new prices from 1 June (by monthly consumption, VAT included, UZS/kWh):
| Monthly use, kWh | Price, UZS/kWh |
|---|---|
| 0–200 | 650 |
| 201–500 | 900 |
| 501–1,000 | 1,100 |
| 1,001–5,000 | 1,600 |
| 5,001–10,000 | 1,900 |
| over 10,000 | 2,200 |
For apartment blocks and dormitories with centrally installed electric stoves, prices are half as much: 325, 450, 550, 800, 950 and 1,100 UZS.
What this means for your numbers
Part of the energy your solar plant produces is used by your home — that lowers your electricity bill; the surplus goes to the grid and earns the “Quyoshli xonadon” subsidy. See an estimate for your consumption in the solar calculator, and for an exact design and price, request a free site survey.
